Xolair Availability
Xolair was first sanctioned by the Food and Drug
Administration of America on June 20, 2003, and was then
introduced to the market in July 2003. At that time only
five pharmacies that dealt in that area of expertise and
served as the prime distributors of the new wonder drug
Xoliar. These
pharmacies were Caremark, CuraScript, the Nova Factor,
Option Care, and Priority Health. They were working in
concurrence with the sole physicians prescribing Xolair, and
as a result each specialty pharmacy provided a widespread
reimbursement programs and services to their various
patients. These programs and services were on a thorough
number of things e.g. to deliver Xolair and ancillary
supplies directly to their patients; plus they also provided

fulfillment programs, and various support kits to their

Xolaire (Omalizumab) is designated for use only by patients
that qualify themselves in the severe asthma bracket, and is
over the age of 12. It is for the teen/adult segment of the
society with continual allergic asthma with distressing
exacerbations. The qualified patient should also have
positive skin tests against an allergen, and the severe
allergic asthma must be completely affecting their total
ability to breathe without difficulty.
The persistent asthma should include the symptoms such as
everyday
asthma symtons, daily need for an inhaler, serious
asthma attacks more than two times a week, asthma attacks at
night, a low expiratory flow (less than 80%), and minimum
results with other medication.
