How Xolair treats Asthma
Xolair treats asthma in one key way; it starts at the core
of the problem, and moves on from there. The complete
mechanism of the process includes the patients with the
excessive anti-body IgE, and Xolair that exclusively targets
that specific antibody, which is the key underlying element
of most allergic asthma.
There have been dangerous situations beforehand in recorded
instances and safety, purpose, and
effectiveness was not properly established, and other
allergic circumstances arose. In some of these patients,
when the allergens entered the body, causing the IgE
antibodies to be produced and then circulate themselves into
the bloodstream. Now note that IgE circulating in the blood
is a negative result. The IgE that ends up in the
bloodstream binds itself to the mast cells, which by the way
contain the very inflammatory chemicals of leukotrienes,
histamine, etc.
With the persistent, and re-exposure to an allergen, the IgE
that binded itself onto the mast cell then irritates that
temporary relationship and triggers the breakdown of the
mast cells and it begins to release these precarious
chemicals. This chain-chemical release triggers the instant
inflammation, severe bronchial constriction, and the
insistent coughing that is associated with asthma.
Xolair’s purpose is specially designed to bind themselves to
the free circulating IgE antibodies in the bloodstream, thus
decreasing the very amount of the IgE antibodies that is
available to bind itself to the very volatile mast cells.
With the Xolair drug, fewer and fewer IgE antibodies can
bind itself to the various mast cells, making the IgE
irritation of these cells less likely to occur. Therefore,
restraining the mast cell's involuntary release of those
treacherous chemicals which ultimately leads to the various
symptoms of asthma.
